Emmy Awards le Previsioni finali sulle nomination

‎Mancano pochi giorni all’annuncio ed ecco puntuali le previsioni finali sulle nomination per gli Emmy Awards 2022.

Emmy Awards 2022: quando saranno annunciate le nomination

Le schede sono state consegnate e la TV Academy sta tabulando i voti. Il 12 luglio saranno annunciate le 74 nomination ai Primetime Emmy Awards, con molte sorprese attese in tutte le categorie.

‎Gli Emmy dello scorso anno hanno visto “The Crown” di Netflix e “The Mandalorian” di Disney+ guidare il conteggio delle nomination con 24 candidature. Quest’anno, l’autorità principale in quel regno dovrebbe essere la Succession di HBO con una previsione di 25 candidature (13 per la recitazione).

Supererebbe il record detenuto da “The West Wing” (NBC) nel 2002.

‎Only Murders in the Building dovrebbe ottenere 21 nomination, tra cui quelle per Steve Martin, Martin Short e Selena Gomez, che sono anche produttori esecutivi. Gomez sarebbe la prima Latina ad essere nominata due volte per serie comiche e recitazione nello stesso anno.

‎Altri grandi nomi che dovrebbero apparire più volte sono Zendaya, che sarebbe la più giovane candidata due volte come attrice protagonista (anche produttrice esecutiva per Euphoria).

‎”The White Lotus” della HBO dovrebbe avere molte nomination per la recitazione, tra cui  Murray Bartlett e Jennifer Coolidge.

Si prevede che la rete  avrà candidature anche per “Barry”, “Hacks” e “Nuclear Family”.‎

‎Showtime rappresenterà la sua nuova serie horror di punta “Yellowjackets”.  Cinque menzioni previste (tra cui Melanie Lynskey e Christina Ricci) e due per Karyn Kusama nella regia e nel montaggio del suono per una commedia o una serie drammatica.‎

‎”Squid Game” di Netflix potrebbe fare la storia come la prima serie in lingua non inglese nominata dalla TV Academy con una  previsione di 14 nomination. Netflix potrebbe anche diventare il primo streamer a conquistare tre posti per le nomination alle serie drammatiche  con “Ozark” e “Stranger Things”.

‎Parlando di “Stranger Things” potrebbe ottenere 13 nomination ( tra le altre a  Millie Bobby Brown e Sadie Sink).

‎Apple TV + è il campione in carica nella commedia con “Ted Lasso“, ma potrebbe ottenere molti riconoscimenti  con Severance- Scissione, una serie dall’incredibile riscontro di critica e pubblico.

Per  “Black-ish” e “Abbott Elementary” della ABC invece annunciate rispettivamente sette e otto nomination. Con quest’ultimo, Quinta Brunson potrebbe diventare la prima donna nera a ottenere tre nomination nelle categorie comiche per produzione, recitazione e scrittura nello stesso anno. NBC porta avanti la serie drammatica “This Is Us” e si spera che possa raccogliere la sua prima menzione per il creatore Dan Fogelman.‎

‎Anche dal punto di vista della rete, la CBS potrebbe avere la sua prima commedia nominata ( dopo “Big Bang Theory” del 2014)  con la sua serie “Ghosts”.‎

Emmy Awards previsioni finali: Il Western

‎E non dimentichiamo i western, che stanno tornando in auge con “Yellowstone” della Paramount ( nel cast Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly e Gil Birmingham). Il produttore e regista Taylor Sheridan sarà probabilmente tra i nominati insieme alla serie limitata “1883” della Paramount +.‎
