BAFTA AWARDS 2022 vincitori e vinti

Bafta Awards 2022 i vincitori: i premi cinematografici 2022 della British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), ospitati da Rebel Wilson sono stati conseganti alla Royal Albert Hall di Londra.

Miglior regista è Jane Campion per il suo The Power of the Dog. Ennesimo riconoscimento alla regista dopo il premio appena ricevuto per i DGA AWARDS.

Miglior film è ancora The Power of the Dog che si conferma come il candidato numero uno anche agli Oscar 2022.

La serata è iniziata con il presidente dei BAFTA Krishnendu Majumdar che ha reso omaggio al popolo ucraino.

BAFTA 2022 tutte le nomination

Shirley Bassey ha poi lanciato i festeggiamenti con un’emozionante interpretazione della canzone del titolo del film di James Bond “Diamonds Are Forever” per la quale ha ricevuto una standing ovation dalla folla.

Rivolgendo la sua attenzione all’ultimo successo al botteghino, la presentatrice Wilson ha dichiarato:

“‘The Batman’ è destinato a diventare il più grande film. Ironico che un uomo e un pipistrello abbiano iniziato il tutto …”

La star di “Hot Fuzz” Simon Pegg ha consegnato il primo premio della serata, per gli effetti speciali visivi, che è andato a “Dune”.

RuPaul e Naomi Campbell hanno consegnato il prossimo premio, per la fotografia, a Greg Fraser per “Dune”.

Il miglior BAFTA per il  montaggio va  Tom Cross, Elliot Graham per “No Time to Die” e il BAFTA sonoro a Mac Ruth, Mark Mangini, Doug Hemphill, Theo Green, Ron Bartlett per “Dune”.

Asim Chaudhry ha presentato il BAFTA per la colonna sonora originale a Hans Zimmer per “Dune”. Zimmer è in tour e quindi non è in grado di ritirare il premio di persona.

BAFTA per il trucco e i capelli a “The Eyes of Tammy Faye“ e il casting a Cindy Tolan per “West Side Story”.

Bafta Awards 2022 i vincitori: alcuni premi

Kenneth Branagh ha presentato il BAFTA per l’eccezionale film d’esordio di uno scrittore, regista o produttore britannico a Jeymes Samuel per “The Harder They Fall”.

Il miglior film straniero è Drive my car fenomeno dell’anno e film entrato ormai nella storia. Nulla da fare dunque per Sorrentino e il suo É stata la mano di Dio che resta in attesa delle possibile vittoria agli Oscar il 27 Marzo.

Miglior attore è Will Smith ( Una famiglia vincente) premiato da Salma Ayek .

L’attore conferma le previsioni della vigilia e si avvicina sempre più a ricevere il suo primo Oscar.

Joanna Scanlan  “After Love è la vera sorpresa vincendo come migliore attrice protagonista contro contendenti importanti e date per favorite.

Premio per la sceneggiatura originale al bel film di Anderson Licorice Pizza, mentre per la sceneggiatura adattata la spunta Coda.

Ariana DeBose, come da pronostici,  vince come non protagonista per West Side Story e Troy Kotsur  è il vincitore  non protagonista per l’apprezzato trionfo al Sundance 2021 “Coda”.

Nominations e attese

L’evento più celebrato nel calendario dell’industria cinematografica britannica torna per la sua prima edizione live dalla pandemia.

L’epico thriller fantascientifico di Denis Villeneuve “Dune” aveva il maggior numero di nomination (11 ) mentre il  western di Jane Campion “The Power of the Dog” partiva con otto nomination.

IL dramma personale di Kenneth Branagh “Belfast” arrivava con sei nomination mentre il canto del cigno di Daniel Craig come James Bond, “No Time to Die”ne cinque  accanto a “Licorice Pizza” di Paul Thomas Anderson e al reboot musicale di Steven Spielberg “West Side Story“.
