Oscar 2026 le shortlist in 12 categorie. I membri di diversi rami dell’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hanno partecipato alla votazione preliminare in più categorie, tra cui cortometraggio animato, documentario (lungometraggio), documentario (cortometraggio), film internazionale, cortometraggio live action, trucco e acconciatura, colonna sonora originale, canzone originale, suono ed effetti visivi.
Quest’anno segna anche il debutto delle shortlist per miglior casting e miglior fotografia, entrambe incluse per la prima volta.
Niente da fare per Familia il nostro film, storia vera di Luigi Celeste, vittima della violenza del padre. Nel film uno straordinario Francesco Gheghi (Luigi) ha vinto il Premio di Miglior attore della sezione Orizzonti del Festival di Venezia 2024.
Le votazioni degli Oscar per determinare le nomination in tutte le 24 categorie si apriranno lunedì 12 gennaio e si concluderanno venerdì 16 gennaio.
Le nomination saranno annunciate giovedì 22 gennaio.
Conan O’Brien tornerà a condurre la cerimonia degli Oscar, che si terrà il 2 marzo.
