Si è svolta il 27 febbraio 2026, alla Royce Hall della UCLA, la cerimonia della 76ª edizione degli ACE Eddie Awards. I riconoscimenti sono assegnati dalla American Cinema Editors (ACE), società che dal 1962 premia i migliori montatori di cinema e televisione. Tra i vincitori dei premi principali di questa edizione si sono distinti I peccatori (Sinners), Una battaglia dopo l’altra (One Battle After Another) e KPop Demon Hunters.
Il montatore de I peccatori, Michael P. Shawver, ha ottenuto il Best Edited Feature Drama, mentre Andy Jurgensen ha ricevuto il Best Edited Feature Comedy per Una battaglia dopo l’altra. Entrambi i titoli sono candidati all’Oscar per il miglior montaggio, dove concorreranno con Stephen Mirrione per F1 – Il film, Ronald Bronstein e Josh Safdie per Marty Supreme e Olivier Bugge Coutté per Sentimental Value. Nathan Schauf ha ottenuto invece il Best Edited Animated Feature Film per KPop Demon Hunters: il film arriva da una settimana significativa sul fronte dei premi, dopo i successi agli Annie Awards – dove ha vinto in tutte e dieci le categorie per cui è stato nominato – e ai VES Awards con tre riconoscimenti.
Per quanto riguarda le produzioni televisive, The Pitt (HBO Max) si è aggiudicato il Best Edited Drama Series, premiato già lo scorso settembre come Miglior serie drammatica (Outstanding Drama Series) alla 77ª edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards. The Penguin (HBO) ha ottenuto invece il Best Edited Limited Series.
Durante la serata sono stati anche assegnati premi onorari, tra cui il Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year a Ang Lee, e i Career Achievement Award a Arthur Forney e Robert Leighton.
